When/how will I receive my patterns? What do I do if I don’t receive my patterns?
Patterns are sent automatically upon payment and should land in your inbox within minutes! If you don’t see them in your inbox, it is possible they went to your spam/junk folder or that there was a spelling error in your email address. If the patterns aren’t received within 4 hours of payment and you’ve checked your junk folder, please fill out the form below and be sure to include: your full name, the email address you purchased the patterns from, and which pattern(s) you purchased. I strive to answer all emails within 2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding weekends and Canadian public holidays).
I don’t understand or need help with a pattern instruction, or have questions about things like gauge, what yarn to use etc.
No problem! First, try checking out the Garment Resources tab of my website (click here) where you will find helpful resources for a lot of my FAQs, as well as links to video tutorials for certain skills & techniques used in my patterns. Still can’t find the answer? Send me a line using the form below. Please be sure to include: which pattern you are working on, what size you are working on and the page number & specific instruction you are stuck on. (e.g. I’m working on the Danica pullover in size XL and am stuck on round 6 on page 5 of the pattern).
Will you help me modify the pattern (e.g. change the neckline, shaping, etc)?
While I do not offer 1:1 modification consultations, I do have a mini course which teaches you how to modify garments to fit your unique body & style and it includes a spreadsheet that helps you with the math! Click here to check out the workshop. However, if you are experiencing fit issues or your body measurements don’t line up well with one size of the Craft Yarn Council sizes please reach out and I will do my best to help you get a garment that fits you well!
I can’t find the images referenced in the pattern or need more help with a specific skill.
For some of my more challenging patterns I have included links to additional resources on page 2 of the pattern. Sometimes these are links to helpful blog posts, links to photos, or links to spreadsheets etc. This helps to keep the patterns a manageable file size and some makers may not require the additional resources. Page 2 also contains a lot of notes & information to help you succeed in making the design!
Do you or will you ever have a video tutorial for X pattern?
Unless specifically stated in the listing description for the pattern or on page 2 of the pattern, no. While I have more recently gotten into some video content, I have no immediate plans to go back and re-create video tutorials for old patterns as there are just too many of them! I have created the Garment Resources page here on my website that has many video tutorials linked for many of the specific skills required for a wide range of my designs though and am regularly adding new helpful links! Check it out here.
